Weight Management

GLP-1 programs including semaglutide and tirzepatide for medically supervised weight loss.

About this treatment area

GLP-1 receptor agonists have transformed medical weight management. Semaglutide (Wegovy, Ozempic) and tirzepatide (Zepbound, Mounjaro) are FDA-approved for chronic weight management and produce average weight loss of 15–22% of body weight in clinical trials. Compounded versions are available through licensed 503A/503B pharmacies at lower cost, though FDA has restricted compounding as shortages resolved.
